CBD (cannabidiol) is the second most prevalent active ingredient in cannabis. When it is derived from the industrial hemp plant, the isolate is free of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) which is the active component that gives you a “high” effect. According to the World Health Organization, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential…. To date, there is no evidence of public health related problems associated with the use of pure CBD.”

Our CBD products are 50 states legal to purchase and use. We are very critical when we grow our hemp plants and send samples of all our products to a third party lab to be tested for its potency. The lab then provides us with a certificate of analysis which shows us exactly how much CBD and THC is present. If a product does contain THC, they are below the FDA 0.3% limit and any product that tests above that threshold is destroyed in accordance with FDA guidelines.

There have been FDA approved treatments for conditions such as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and Dravet syndrome, however the scientific research for health related benefits of CBD is still an ongoing and ever expanding field. While the FDA has approved treatments that contain elements of CBD, that doesn’t mean CBD is able to diagnose, treat or cure any disease. There are many users of CBD have individually reported relief from chronic pain, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia and many other ailments, but there is no scientific guarantee or FDA endorsement of these claims.
